Denver, Colo., July 20, 2009 – Denver-based Four Winds Interactive (FWI) is excited to announce that they have been named one of the Top 50 Colorado Companies to Watch for 2009. Quickly rising up to be a leading provider of software in the digital signage industry, FWI started in Arvada, CO and moved to the historic Parkside Mansion in Denver’s City Park at the beginning of 2007.
FWI has strong ties to the Colorado community with its software currently being used to power many of the digital signs found at Colorado-based hotels, universities, hospitals, and other venues around the state. In conjunction with Colorado Companies to Watch, 9News featured FWI and the Sheraton Denver Downtown hotel in a segment highlighting their recent installation of more than 60 digital signs throughout their property. In addition, many of FWI’s team members have attended Colorado-based universities including the University of Colorado, University of Denver, Fort Lewis College, Colorado State University, Colorado Technical University, Metropolitan State University, University of Northern Colorado and Regis University.
FWI President David Levin expressed his gratitude in being named a Colorado Company to Watch. “Colorado is a great place to build a company and we’re very appreciative to be included in this distinguished group of companies,” Levin said.
Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, Jr. commented on this dynamic business recognition program, “Colorado is fortunate to have a diverse economy, which will help reduce the impacts of the global economic crisis. In these challenging times it is vital to appreciate what we have that is working, recognize the strength of growing companies throughout Colorado and the economic vitality they bring to our communities and state. I am pleased to congratulate the 2009 Colorado Companies to Watch, and thank them for contributing to Colorado’s recovery.”
